This is  a fairly common Nutmeg in lowland and dryer parts of fresh water swamp forest. Distinguishing characters include venation raised on both sides of the leaf, young twigs rusty-tomentose (see images) , red-brown bark flaking in large peices, flowers rusty-stelate-tomentose outside, pink and glabrous inside.  The raised venation on both surfaces of the leaf will distinguish this species from Knema malayana with which it may be confused.
 
This tree is located in road side swamp forest near Upper seletar Reservoir.
