Kopsia singaporensis is a small tree or shrub that may be found in swampy areas of the Nature Reserves. It has a 5-petal propeller flower typical of the Apocynaceae family. The leaves are opposites howevertheir orientation alternates about the stem. The leaf nodes are thickened and the petiols are flanged (see image below).  Exudate is white but not always copious.  The species is fairly common within the fresh water swamp forest habitat however much less so outside. This species is fairly bland and generally unnoticed when not in flower.
